Title Learning interacting phonological alternations 2
Description In this experiment, you will be learning words in two dialects of a new language. You will hear the words over headphones and see pictures corresponding to the words on a computer screen. After you have learned some words in this manner, you will be given a word in one dialect and asked how it is pronounced in the other dialect. You will indicate your choice by pressing a key on the keyboard. You will be asked about words you have already learned as well as words that are new to you. This experiment will last approximately one hour.
